Informational purposes only. Maetra is a compliance tooling and AI-governance platform. The frameworks, requirements, classifications, and documents Maetra surfaces or generates are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, regulatory, or professional compliance advice. They are working artifacts to support your own compliance program and should be validated by qualified counsel or a licensed assessor before you rely on them.
1. No legal advice; no warranty
Nothing on this website or within the Maetra product creates an attorney–client, auditor–client, or other professional relationship. Compliance obligations vary by jurisdiction, sector, and the specific facts of your deployment. Maetra makes no warranty that any framework mapping, risk classification, or generated document is complete, current, or sufficient for any regulatory, certification, or audit purpose. You remain responsible for your own compliance.
2. Source frameworks and copyright
Maetra tracks laws, regulations, standards, and frameworks published by governments, intergovernmental bodies, and standards organizations. The names, texts, and criteria of those frameworks are the property of their respective owners and are referenced here for identification and interoperability only.
- Public-source frameworks (e.g. the EU AI Act, GDPR, US federal and state laws, NIST publications): we cite the official sources and link to them where possible.
- Licensed / copyrighted standards(e.g. ISO/IEC, IEEE, HITRUST): Maetra does not reproduce or republish the normative text of these standards. Where we support them, we encode our own plain-language controls keyed to clause numbers and never copy the standard's wording. Access to the full normative text requires a license purchased directly from the publisher.
3. AICPA / SOC 2 notice
SOC 2®and the Trust Services Criteria are copyrighted by, and trademarks of, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), which is not affiliated with Maetra. Maetra paraphrases the applicable criteria in its own words and does not reproduce AICPA documentation, proprietary text, or standard tables verbatim, nor does it display the official AICPA SOC logo. References to "SOC 2", "SOC 2 Type I", or "SOC 2 Type II" are used in plain text to describe the framework only and do not imply AICPA endorsement of Maetra.
4. Trademarks and endorsement
All product names, logos, framework names, and trademarks referenced on this site or in the product are the property of their respective owners. Their use does not indicate any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from those owners, standards bodies, regulators, or certification authorities.
5. Generated documents
Documents generated by Maetra (transparency notices, technical documentation, DPIAs, evidence packs, and similar artifacts) are drafts produced from your inputs and Maetra's own templates. Each generated document carries the legal notice described above. You are responsible for reviewing, completing, and validating any generated document before submitting it to a regulator, auditor, customer, or other third party.
